Jon Stewart works as a consultant on government affairs for major international firms. Combining a professional background in sales with his education, he offers Western business insights as well as a unique perspective on modern China.

Mr. Stewart was a sales representative for a US firm for two years, managing a database of contacts in over 20 states. Then, drawing on his experience growing up in Hong Kong and Singapore, Mr. Stewart returned to Asia and to China as an expert for the bizChina department of China Daily Website.

Mr. Stewart holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Comparative Politics from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has lived in Asia for over ten years and is a conversational Chinese speaker.
