A senior consultant at Yuan Associates, Mrs. Zhang has a wealth of state-owned business and government experience.

Mrs. Zhang was formerly a business consultant at U.S. law practice Garvey Schubert Barer in Beijing.  Before joining GSB, she served as First Secretary in the Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office in the Chinese Embassy to the U.S.A. in Washington D.C.  Her work there included providing business consulting and trade promotion for both Chinese and American companies involved in Sino-U.S. trade.

Mrs. Zhang also has significant experience in import and export business as she worked in China National Native Produce and Animal By-Products Import and Export Corporation (China Tuhsu) for 12 years in a variety of positions, including serving as Deputy General Manager of the China Tea Import and Export Corporation, General Manager at the China Tuhsu Flavor and Fragrance Import and Export Corporation and President of Sunry (Singapore) International, an overseas subsidiary of China Tuhsu.

Mrs. Zhang holds a BA in economics from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing and has completed business management post-graduate work at the University of Toronto, Canada.
