Jon Stewart serves simultaneously as Business Development Manager and also as Senior Consultant on government affairs for Yuan Associates' multinataional clients. Combining a professional background with his education and unique experience growing up in Asia, Mr. Stewart is an advocate on behalf of international firms in China.

Mr. Stewart returned to China in 2007 to work as an expert for the bizChina department of China Daily Website, where he learned about Chinese government regulation of media in China. He came to Yuan Associates in 2008.

In addition to his roles at Yuan Associates, Mr. Stewart is also an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, serving as Vice Chair of the chamber's Public Policy Development Committee.

Mr. Stewart holds a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Comparative Politics from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In his childhood, Mr. Stewart spent eight years in Hong Kong and Singapore. He has lived in Asia for over twelve years and speaks mandarin Chinese.
